Hi. I'm Dan. owner of EVENTSHIPPING.com. I've been in the  transportation business for over 40 years.  I cut my teeth in the air freight forwarding business handling local trucking and all areas of time sensitive air cargo; both domestic & international.  In the early days, most next day, second day and 3-day deliveries were shipped via air.  In 1980  all air and ground shipping regulations changed and ground expedited freight shipping services (fashioned after the airlines direct point or hub system)  became the norm it is today.

in 1983 - while out on  door to door in-person sales calls - I met a company that was moving freight to trade shows on moving and storage trucks, a very expensive mode of transportation at the time.  I showed my new client that we could ship many of the shipments by expedited ground or air and cut the charges to their customers in half, while increasing their level of service (I also showed hundreds of moving and storage agents how to do the same).

I fell in love with the challenge of trade show, events and time critical business and in 1986 collaborated with AIRWAYS FREIGHT CORPORATION to expand into the trade show and event business. I have been a dedicated customer service freak ever since.
